Non-rpgers, you may want to avert your eyes from the patheticness about to ensue.

So I'm about one game away from ending the first campaign I've ever run. And I find myself surprisingly reluctant to actually finish plotting it out. And I don't want it to end. There were so many subtleties that I had thought of and never really got to. Moral dilemmas I no longer have time to set up. I keep thinking of this and that and wishing I'd done it better, and oh, I could fix it if I had more time. But I really don't have any reason to drag the plot out anymore - the natural conclusion is almost here, unless the characters totally screw up (in which case, I can end the world or just make them scramble across the globe some more). But I don't want to let go...it's like sending your children to kindergarten.

you've created a monster, Chuckro. I could have warned you, but of course, you didn't ask. Woe.

See, and I was thinking exactly that of Ivy and her Yasmin...

As far as monsters go, I can think of much worse. She's not drinking excessively, or monopolizing the TV, or terrorizing the neighbors. And if I ever need to distract her from gaming, I can always rely on her original addiction: Anything written.

Ok, but if you have to resort to that, have mercy and try to provide something more edifying than the shampoo bottle directions. ...and repeat...

She went to the library last night, and came back with seven books. I said they'd last her a week. She poo-pooed me, but then finished one of the books before bed. We're going to need to move next year when she finishes the library.

I only said that because Ivy's supposed to bring me more crack, I mean Jedi Quest books, soon.

Can I terrorize the neighbors? Can I? Can I? Huh huh huh?

Are you going to resort to trying to sell cookies door to door during major sporting events?

Hey, selling Girl Scout cookies early on Super Bowl Sunday was a great tactic!
