We went registry-shopping yesterday. Apparently, if you register at Macy's, you end up with three or four free bridal magazines. So if anyone's interested in making bride-collages, I'm totally your source.

This, of course, meant that we spent most of yesterday afternoon playing with scanner guns. I think we're too practical. We spent an hour and a half in Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and our list is only about 30 items long. Supposedly, we're supposed to have 2-3 items per guest on the registry so that people have stuff to choose from. I don't think there is anywhere that we want 300 items from, though...

But zapping things is fun. Zap! Beeep!

I actually briefly interned with a start-up company that made scanner guns and was building them into palm pilots and cell phones. Making mock-ups and testing them was such fun...
