Adjustments

I just got contacts again for the first time since basically high school. (I stopped wearing them in college when I spent most days in a chem lab or a machine shop, and all days with tired, irritated eyes from sleep deprivation.) I'm wearing them to work for the first time. It's a weird adjustment. I've got the occasional distortion in my peripheral vision, which is distracting, and my eyes seem to be getting tired a lot faster than normal. I did bring the case and my glasses in case I can't last the day. This is definitely going to take some getting used to.

(I feel like lenses were smaller ten years ago. Has the diameter actually increased, or is it just my memory playing tricks on me?)

Lenses might've been smaller. It's been long enough since I've been able to wear them that I'm not really sure. But lenses HAVE been made a bit bigger to try to expand both peripheral vision and comfort.
