Around 10:30 this morning, a parade of something like 50 Santas marched past our apartment. I have no idea why.

Tree is bought. Cookies sent to brother and sister-in-law in Iraq. Chuckro is apparently finished his wrapping, which I haven't started yet. So, need to decorate tree, buy wine, and wrap presents (two of which should arrive this coming week). Doing well on the Christmas front, I think.

Ah, I believe this is connected to the picture my grad school friend posted today with the caption "thousands of drunk Santas in Central Park." I'll admit, it was pretty impressive.
