I have about a 50% fail rate on gelatin and about a 15% fail rate on custards. I should have known panna cotta would be a problem.

You win, egg nog panna cotta. I shall withdraw to fight another day.

Drat. That sucks. Especially because it sounds delicious.

Now I totally wanna make a custard, though.

I managed to accidentally boil the milk. Twice. The eggs did not survive the second boil.

Really shouldn't have tried this while sick. Chuckro was right, as he usually is.

Crapping crap, yeah, that would do it.

I'm usually pretty good with things involving gelatin and setting, but even I won't attempt custard while ill. Instant jello is about the extent of my capacity then.

*snug*

How'd the snickerdoodle souffle turn out?

Snickerdoodle pie was dangerously good. Really dangerous.

Imagine a chess pie--a mass of butter and sugar barely held together by the tiniest bit of flour. Now add cinnamon chips. It was pretty awesome. And might be able to kill someone who attempted to eat the whole thing.

And eggs. There were four egg yolks in that thing.
