Disappointing fruit

Just bit into my second mouthful of fermenting fruit in two days. (Unrelated - one was a mango that I'd just bought that turned out to be squishier once I peeled it than I realized, the other a honeydew that had sat in the fridge slowly being eaten over the course of a week.)

Slimy and unpleasantly cloying. Ugh.

Apparently. But then, it spent a bunch of time outside the fridge, so that probably did it.
