Video game dreams
Jul. 24th, 2012 06:51 amI seem to be having a lot of video game style dreams lately.
There was one very long and surprisingly coherent one that revolved around a Portal-style gun that transferred across not time but space. ( Sort of a triumph )
There was another one, this one arcade-style and actually about playing a video game. An enemy ship was trying to board your ship. They would throw grappling hooks, and you had to figure out the frequency of the rope and use a vibrating blade set to the right setting to cut the rope before they could board. When the entire bottom of the screen had been filled out with grappling hooks, then ropes would drop from the top of the screen and you had to kill the enemies climbing down them. It probably wouldn't make that bad of an arcade game, really.
