It's a rather lovely day for the first time in a very long while, so I decided that instead of going to the gym, I'd go for a run. Took a lovely jog up to the grad college and back. Admired the flowers. Was rather proud, since I'm covering the distance faster and with less pain than this time last year. All in all very pleasant.

And I got back to my room and went to take a shower. And rediscovered something I'd forgotten. Namely, that they're doing some kind of emergency repairs and have shut off all hot water on campus. It was an...umm...invigorating shower, to say the least.

At least the freezing water was AFTER your run, unlike a memorable one I took a little over a year ago.

Iced-over water still makes me a little uneasy. Fortunately there's less and less of it around.

We will catch up after this weekend. That's a promise!
