Yay bureaucracy

I've successfully changed my name on my driver's license. Go me! Also have gotten passport photos (although I'm not going to send my passport in to be switched until after I deal with the new job on Monday). And have new glasses coming in in a week or two.

And I got a bunch of my Christmas decorating done. Still need a present for my brother and possibly one or two little things for Chuckro.

Well done you. I'm trying and trying to puzzle out gifts and the like and not coming up with much. I think I've got a few. The time pressure for ordering on line = not helpful.

Me too. Gift shopping is difficult, especially when the cute and unique places are only open during business hours, and I haven't had a free Saturday.

Yeah. I think my difficulty stems from the fact I'm sure that no one likes the stuff I dredge up. Mostly, as I'm reassured, it's just that I'm completely unsubtle about everything I like or don't like so I'm easy to shop for. By comparison, everyone else seems hard. Still, wish I could do it more easily.

Online shopping doesn't actually help. It's limiting. Even with the "suggested" tags you can cycle through, there's nothing like wandering in a shop to find gifts (found a couple this year that way).
