I've been trying to get through all the thank you notes.

I started out with a box of cute little cards. I ran out of cards. Ok, well, I have a couple more of a different design. I ran out of those, too. Ok, well, I have a box of pretty writing paper with envelopes that match. I ran out of envelopes. Ok, well, I have the leftover envelopes from the wedding invitations. I ran out of paper.

For the first time in probably a decade, I don't have any stationery in the house at all.

Apparently, I need to hit Hallmark on the way home.

You know how you accumulate sationary in the first place? Because you can never find it when you need it. I'd give you all of my old stationary, but I don't know where it is. I want to write a letter once in a blue moon, and I end up using notebook paper. I bet, after all the wedding cards, you'll find you had some stashed somewhere. It's nutty.

Nope - I keep all mine in one place, and I knew exactly how many boxes I had. I just hadn't realized I'd go through so much paper...

More like life, the never ending worry event. I have a mental checklist of everything I need to get done, and when it gets too full, I start freaking out. If I can keep the simple things (like note-writing) cleared out quickly, then the big things (like figuring out what I want to do with the rest of my life) aren't quite as overwhelming.
