And we have the return of the wedding dreams.

Two nights ago, I dreamt my mom and my brother and I were in France. We took a train out to the countryside, and found a little clothing boutique. My mom wanted to find a dress for my wedding. She found this white corset-type thing with a handkerchief skirt that she insisted would be perfect to wear over top of the dress she had previously been intending to wear. I was highly doubtful.

Last night, I dreamt we went on a cruise for our honeymoon (which we did consider). Chuckro and I got separated in the line, and I ended up being the very last person on board. The first activity was breakfast, and you had to walk through the dining room to the kitchen to pick it up. I walked past Chuckro, who had already sat down with a big plate of waffles with blueberries. But when I got there, they were putting the breakfast things away and I couldn't have any waffles. I was rather pissed at Chuckro for not staying with me or saving me food or anything. Later, we stopped at a little town on an island. There were a bunch of cute shops, and a "museum", which consisted of a beach bum guy with a tank that used to be full of snakes. Note "used to". They apparently had escaped. I was somewhat disturbed.

Where are you actually going on your honeymoon?

San Francisco and Monterey.

Ooh! Seal colonies and fresh seafood and glistening fields of artichokes and underwater vehicles! Well, okay, the underwater vehicles part is not that romantic. Unless you control two of them to maintain a fixed distance while trailing a sign that says "Just Married" behind a cruise boat you're on.

Also, I believe artichoke season is well over at this point.

But it's at the end of the grape harvest, and in the middle of olives, and the time of year when monarch butterflies are all clustering in Pacific Grove.

No, just a tropical island.

I've had it...

Had it with these motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking island...? Or just with the wedding dreams?

Well, I was thinking more the former. But both, yes. I mean, it's a week and a half, but at this point I feel like I've covered most of the bases of things I could dream about in relation to this wedding.

Maybe the wedding itself will then be like a dream...as in easy, not as in the disasters you've been imagining.

Maybe I'll shut upt now.

I had a dream that we were all wearing World War I army helmets -- the American kind, not the German ones with the point on them -- at your wedding. I think you probably missed that dream, but feel free to have it if you wish.
