I've managed to screw up the skirt I was trying to make pretty badly. And did something to the sewing machine my grandmother gave me that seems to have it permanently jammed.

Go me.

Doh. Did you try taking it apart yet? My mom's sewing machine broke, and it was a bitch to take apart. I don't remember what the problem was, but I took apart way more than I needed to. :P

I can't get at the problem spot without taking apart the casing, which I'm not sure how to do (and not sure I could put back together).
