It's not quite a full-on ruining (such as the Worst Thanksgiving, Worst Christmas, Worst New Year's, or Worst Mother's Day), but this is not going to down as the best Independence Day ever. But it's not like I was feeling particularly patriotic, anyway.
I have a fever and a sore throat. Won't get the test results until Monday or Tuesday. So my doctor has me on a Z-pack, and handfuls of ibuprofen, and as much citrus and green tea as I can stand. I'm not super miserable at the moment, just uncomfortable and a little scared. We'll see what happens, I guess.
ARR is not enjoying the random fireworks being set off in the neighborhood.
On the plus side, Chuckro's LASIK went successfully and he seems to be recovering well.
