Clean ALL the things

The cleaners came yesterday. But in addition, I've changed the sheets and towels, put away oh god so much stuff, washed all the rugs (including the front hall one that really can only be washed by hand scrubbing outside), washed the outdoor furniture covers, and the outdoor furniture, swept the patio, scrubbed the deck, scrubbed the porch, scrubbed the steps, scrubbed the siding, washed the front windows, planted the hardier seedlings, started a new set of seedlings, started the smaller dahlias indoors, cleaned the washer, and put away more things. So many things. Why do we own so many things?

This is why I rent? Also, they don't call it spring cleaning for nothing.
