The grape sunk into the pudding. So I put in a second one. And that one sank into the pudding. So I put a third. That squished a raspberry, fell over, and sank into the pudding. But the fourth one stayed up!
Trying to make a fruit tart, which I've successfully done in the past. But the problem is that this one is parve not only in deference to ARR but so it can be served in the same meal as lamb to a kosher-keeping guest. So I had to make the pudding part with soy milk, which can be considered soft-set if you're feeling very generous. It's still beautiful now that it's done, but that's only because there's basically an entire hidden layer of fruit under all the fruit, holding it up. It's going to be...messy to serve.
