We got out to see Noises Off last night. I...don't think I've ever laughed so hard in a theater. By the climax, I actually couldn't breathe.

(It's a clever show, if you haven't heard of it. The first act is a theater company running through their dress rehearsal of the first act of a farce. The second act is the same first act again...a month into the run, and with the set turned around so you're watching back stage again. The third is that first act one more time, but again seen from the front at the end of the run. It's a deeply troubled production, so you basically watch these people come completely unglued, with essentially the same dialogue but very different results.)

It's a very witty play to begin with, but the current Broadway cast is amazing. The second act is almost completely in pantomime, since you can't even see the people delivering the lines most of the time. This is physical comedy at its absolute finest.

Seriously, my face and throat hurt when we left the theater.

Oh my god, that CAST.

Andrea Martin and Daniel Davis alone would have me wheezing just talking about the weather.

I love the movie version, kind of want to see it live on stage.

If you can, you should definitely see it.

I went at Christmas. I hadn't time to be embarrassed how loudly I was laughing because I was too busy dying with laughter.
