In dispatches from this morning:
- Thus far, the Play-Doh advent calendar has been a wild success. So far, we've gotten a tree cookie cutter, a tree mold, a pair of plastic scissors, a presents mold, and the most exciting, a train mold.
- ARR demanded that I make a plane for his Play-Doh snake. Who's been exposing my child to memes?
- One of ARR's friends at school is L. Today, he has spent the entire morning playing with "pretend L". "Pretend L" has been served food, has gotten his own Play-Doh train, has had his clothes described in great detail, and has brushed his teeth.
Also, he is occasionally getting simple arithmetic correct. It's not reliable, but he figured out 10-2. He's also worked out some basic addition here and there.
