The childproof safety locks on the cabinet beneath the sink, which contains all the cleaning products and the garbage? The ones our friends can never manage to work correctly?

ARR just figured them out. He can open the cabinet at will.

See, this is why I never got childproofing. Who is the most determined and most unbiased against just sitting around forever doing trial-and-error approach to getting at stuff? KIDS.

I wonder if seeing people opening it a lot at the party gave him some clues.

We have these child-proofing things that came with our house where there is a little metal switch on the inside of the cabinet and a little hand-held magnet which you hold against the outside of the cabinet to pull the metal switch away and allow you to open the cabinet. You then keep the magnetic thing in a drawer or stuck to the (magnetic parts of) the fridge.

I think we still have those... we might be able to send them to you but that would be after we got home next week.
