Two left feet

It's snowy, so I wore boots into work and carried my work shoes in a bag. I just got here and went to put them on. I have two left shoes. Somehow I grabbed a shoe from two different pairs this morning.

Apparently I will be wearing hiking boots all day today.

I'm going to guess that someone was being "helpful" in the shoe closet at some point in the past week.

I'd love to pin the blame on someone else, but I'm pretty sure this one is entirely my fault. I didn't put them away correctly.
