Why is it...

...that the days I have roleplaying group coming over and want to get home early to help Chuckro cook (or any other time that I want to leave at 5), I always have conference calls that start at 5 or massive projects that must be finished before I can leave? And why is it that on days I have writing group and don't actually have to be there until 7:30, I finish everything I'd wanted to accomplish for the day at 4:30? And why is it that when we moved to a building that was farther from home but closer to the subway I need to take to feiran and trinityvixen's, I started having to stay later on all other days, but was able to leave earlier on writing group days? Apparently fate wants me to be home very late, but to show up and bug feiran and trinityvixen way way early.

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned them before. I'm in a writing group. We meet every couple weeks and consume garish amounts of junk food and read each other's stories and shred them.
