Forward and back

ARR was so very good the last couple days. We took a trip into the city to visit old and current coworkers and run errands--he didn't cry at all, and barely fussed. He was just sweet and friendly and incredibly well behaved all day. He went to two different baby-related Meetups and was pleasant with most of the other babies (although he's acquired a nemesis who's either going to be his rival for life or his future wife--she kept stealing his keys until he finally pinched her). And we had friends over for a marathon movie day and he was reasonably pleasant for that, too.

Which of course is why today was awful. Not sure if he's teething or sick, but he's clearly miserable about something and has been all day. Really touchy, tired and cranky, very slight fever. Poor kid is not a happy camper. Which is not making us particularly happy campers, either.

And now we're on a boil water advisory again. Shit. At least we're pretty sure he hasn't been exposed to any of the water since the break, but we both have. Awesome.
