It's odd--I do like teaching people things, but I have so very little interest in being a teacher.
J and B came over on Sunday, and we did a bread and cookie tutorial. Since J is Japanese and her mom wasn't a big baker, she'd actually never made chocolate chip cookies before. Cookies of any kind, actually, which is why I went with chocolate chip--I feel like they're the most standard cookie in the American repetoire. She was gratifyingly pleased to find out how easily they come together--I hope she goes on to make more of her own.
