Synopsis: He's got assassins after him for revenge for an unwise duel. She's got a madman after her because she defended her compromised virtue. But those are not their only trials--there's also horrifically awful musicales, overwritten plays, and a student obsessed with unicorns to be dealt with.
Thoughts: Sweet, if forgettable romance. Likeable characters, only partially ridiculous plot, only slightly over-precocious plot moppets. There are completely legitimate reasons for her to resist falling in love with him (earls do not marry governesses with mysterious pasts), which are then too-easily swept aside in favor of kidnappings! murder attempts! heroic rescues!
Still, an enjoyable bit of fluff.
