Faulty design

Man, I wish this kid came with a timer, like a little time bomb or something. I can never know how long he's going to stay asleep. I really genuinely thought he'd be out for ten minutes, fifteen max. It's been an hour. I wish I knew how much more time I had. If it were half an hour, I'd finish my workout. If it were an hour, I'd go straight to nap. If it's fifteen minutes, I would work on the baby book, and if it were five, I'd just tool around on the internet. But I have no idea!

Being an only child, and having never been around babies for very long, I'm learning a lot from your posts about all the intricacies of child care...
