Title: Invasion: The Secret World Chronicles

Genre: Superhero braid-style novel (first in series)

Synopsis: The beginning of some kind of superhero epic in which the Nazis were actually aliens or something and are back. A lot of mostly unconnected stories, none of which finish.
Thoughts: This is some kind of experiment in which four authors collaborate on a bunch of stories set in the same universe that only loosely tie together. Many of the stories are engaging and have interesting characters, but absolutely nothing of importance is resolved in this book and the entire thing is a lengthy exercise in frustration. I could see this working as a podcast, actually, but it doesn't work at all as a novel. The fact that one of the stories is in first person while the rest are in third just highlights the overall issue. Don't bother.
