Back when we first started trying to get pregnant, I commented to Chuck that it was kind of creepy that the supermarket would be able to track my entire pregnancy. They knew when I started pre-natal vitamins, and then when I stopped refilling my birth control prescription. They knew when I stopped buying pads. I mentioned that if they were really paying attention, they'd know when to start trying to sell us diapers.

Well, a couple weeks ago, we started getting diaper coupons. (They were a little off--the coupons were for six month old sized. But they tried.) And we just confirmed it for them last week when we bought diaper wipes. (We got a pack each of newborn diapers from BBB and wipes. Not many places carry the newborn size, you don't need very many before kids grow into the next size up. But at least this way, when he comes home, we're ready for the first two or three days.)

If they're going to be creepy and track everything I purchase, I at least want to be reaping the promised benefits.
