I think the impact of the "turning 30" thing is pretty muted by the whole "Smidge is full term this week and can pretty much show up any day he choses from now on" thing.

On the plus side, it makes me fairly content with the being 30 thing.

In other news OMG my new exercise ball is the best thing ever I will just sit on it forever. First thing I've sat on in two days that hasn't made my back at least twinge.

I think I'm comfortable with the idea of turning 30, but I guess I'll see when it actually happens...

Part of me also can't believe it. Part of me is so ready. Some of it is that we're almost good to go--most of the paperwork is filled out, most of the nursery is set up, we've taken the classes, the go bag is 90% filled. But I think there's also just some hormonal changes that suddenly makes a bunch of the doubt go away. My body is increasingly telling me "We're good to go, let's do this."

Of course, it's his body that triggers labor, not mine, so it doesn't really matter how I feel about it. :)
