Best friends ever

My friends, who are awesome, threw me the best surprise baby shower ever. The decorations were Batman-themed. There were games that were actually fun and not creepy, and cake that was delicious and also not creepy (and I'm not sure that's even the worst of the cakes I've seen pictures of), and lots of other delicious food and presents. And they made the geek boy's version of a hope chest and pregened character sheets for Smidge in all the different systems. And Chuckro got to go too, because a bunch of my friends are guys and so many of the guests were guys including some of the people planning the party. Because here in the 21st century, men are allowed to be excited about babies, too, and that's awesome. And it was perfect. I don't think I could have planned a party that would have made me happier if I'd planned every detail myself. And I'm all wrapped in a warm fuzzy blanket of feeling loved by a bunch of really wonderful, hilarious, caring people.
