Insult to injury

There's at least an inch and a half of snow out there. On top of trees that still have leaves on them. When a lot of folks still don't have power, heat, or even houses.

Really, weather? We really needed this?

(I was thinking--if this had happened a month from now, when we're closer to Christmas and a lot more of the infrastructure was repaired and better long term solutions had been found for the homeless folk, I would have been charmed. But right now--we didn't need this. We really, really didn't need this.)

Please may we not lose power again...

It took me two hours to drive home last night. It sucked. Headlights don't help in that kind of weather. Neither do 18-wheelers. Thankfully, I still had power in my building when I got home, praise jebus.
