So many interviews!

First, a random comment - holy shit, the snow's really coming down out there!

So I'm in the middle of another round of interview-with-everyone-who-will-have-you. One on Friday, one yesterday, one on Tuesday, two on Wednesday, another during break...It's nice to be popular, but I wish someone would offer me a damn job so I could stop interviewing. Applying for jobs is taking up so much time it gets hard to get stuff for my classes done. I was talking to Spring the other day - we concluded that our feelings were pretty much "Stupid deciding-my-future crap! It's keeping me from doing my homework!"

Really, it's a nasty little circle. The interviewing keeps you from focusing on your work, so your grades fall. Which makes it harder to get a job. But if you focus on your work, you blow off the job search...

Stupid people. I'm smart and lovable. They should know better and just give me the job. With a nice little bonus. And a company car, while we're dreaming...

Good luck with your interviews! I'm sure someone will figure out that you're smart and lovable and give you a job. Have you asked Chuck for a job? [grin] I'd offer to try to find you a job here, but you probably want to stay in jersey.

Hey, if I could just give her a job, this angst would have ended long ago. Though I'm going to start forwarding openings at L-A to as graduation gets closer. Our HR department likes to fill any open slots as soon as possible.

Hey, just look at it this way - it's better than not having interviews. All this is making realize how unusual my getting this job was. (I interviewed with this company only and the offered me the job the next morning. They actually woke me up. So I was like "Yes I'll take it! Wait - what?")
