I don't seem to post as much, now with the new job. Kinda miss it.
Lovely weekend, both in the sense that it was lovely outside and in the sense of fun times were had with fun people. Opera and grasshoppers and karaoke, oh my.
A note to opera singers--if you're going to put that much effort into carefully thinking through your phrasing for each gorgeous note, you should really put at least a little effort into phrasing your dialogue so you don't sound like an idiot. Especially if you're not speaking in your native language. Obviously talented performers, undercutting their singing with abysmal acting. (Mith, on the other hand, was her usual adorable, expressive, and dazzlingly talented self. I would happily watch her prance about the stage for hours.)
And I've finally met Firynze! She's a real person! Really! (An awesome real person, to boot.)
