- I left my food somewhere in the apartment instead of putting it in my bag. This is unfortunate, as said food was tuna salad. Also, now I'm hungry.

- I always find this time of year difficult for sleeping because I have a lot of trouble balancing blankets/pjs/etc to actually stay a comfortable temperature all night. I actually had a long and detailed dream about having insufficient blankets and being cold, probably because I had insufficient blankets and was cold. I wonder if this is why I'm so totally exhausted today.

- Police investigation at 34th St ended up making me half an hour late for work. Bleh. There's been a lot of those lately.

- My brother sent me a fantastic set of pictures of a sandstorm rolling in on their base in Iraq. It's just this wall of sandclouds, reaching up to the sky, moving as a sheet towards them. He said it was really cool to watch come in, but really really sucked once it was there, obviously.

Awww, hungry is no good. I had the usual Vroom!Co summer breakfast of champions: stale popcorn from last night's event. But I have potato-and-pea-and-alfredo goodness for lunch, so yay.

Sandstorms scare me.

Fortunately, Vermont is not known for sandstorms.

I think people are extra paranoid right now.
