I didn't actually want one. But now I've got it. Great. Now I'm supposed to be reachable at all times. At night. On weekends. Wherever I go. Stupid technology.
I believe P.J. O'Rourke made the point--why would anyone want a cell phone? Not being reachable is a status symbol; can you just dial up the President or the Queen of England? Not having a cell phone sends the signal: "I'm too important to let every Tom, Dick, and Harry call me wherever I am."
Which, of course, is probably exactly why they gave you the Blackberry... ;-)
