Not a promising start

This morning, after pouring my milk into my cereal, I proceeded to pour my juice into my cereal as well.

The subway smells like burning pumpkin. Apparently there is a "smoke condition", and they've shut down a bunch of the uptown trains.

In other news...today is our prenniversary. In precisely one year, I'll be getting married...

And I figured we could operate sub rosa for a few more weeks. Maybe we should have said something about attending a role-playing session? THAT would have baffled the kids (then again, these are kids with smart brains...)
