Not a promising start

This morning, after pouring my milk into my cereal, I proceeded to pour my juice into my cereal as well.

The subway smells like burning pumpkin. Apparently there is a "smoke condition", and they've shut down a bunch of the uptown trains.

In other news...today is our prenniversary. In precisely one year, I'll be getting married...

I started this morning by grabbing a fork for my cereal instead of a spoon.

Need coffee...

Happy Prenniversary. I'm more excited about this than I was about my own wedding! In one year you will be the Most Spectacular Bride EVER.

Rebecca, you are SO gorgeous that the photographer will be asking to use your wedding photos as demo shots for prospective clients!

But wait- you mean you're NOT supposed to pour both milk and juice on cereal? It's so pretty when it swirls. And it saves all that extra juice swallowing time.

Looks like Honorable Mother of the Happy Surprise is at it again...

Your mother wrote that comment, Chuck?

Well, that explains...just about everything. ;)

[identity profile] jethrien.livejournal.com 2005-10-21 05:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, it's extra fun - both my mother and his comment, but neither has an account. So pretty much every anonymous post on either of our journals is probably from one mother or the other. The game is guessing which one is posting what. :)

[identity profile] tigermelp.livejournal.com 2005-10-21 06:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Being unable to tell which mother is posting (without the use of IP logging, of course) is a sign that you and Chuck are very well matched. ;)

We can tell. Usually.

She's "outed" us, Laurie!

[identity profile] jethrien.livejournal.com 2005-10-21 07:04 pm (UTC)(link)
See, now this would be an example of my mother posting.

And I figured we could operate sub rosa for a few more weeks. Maybe we should have said something about attending a role-playing session? THAT would have baffled the kids (then again, these are kids with smart brains...)

'Cause everyone likes curdled milk clinging to their Cheerios!

[identity profile] shnayder.livejournal.com 2005-10-21 06:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, if you don't like curdled milk you shouldn't be drinking milk and juice at the same time anyway :)

Congrats on the pre-anniversary!

Personally, I like "anteversary"... Have a very happy one! Today is a special day for me, also. I'm 11111 days old. :)

both my mother and his comment

See, this is why we need grouping operators in English. Without them, it looks like you said "both {my mother} and {his comment}", when of course you meant "both {my mother and his} comment". Aren't you glad I didn't jump in with this topic on the latest Band Random thread? :)
