Bleh. Spent half the weekend working.

I did get to go to karaoke with a bunch of friends on Friday. There was much singing of silly songs. A "Wicked" theme, since they had musicals in the list of choices. A group belting of "Bohemian Rhapsody". And a stunned and frightened mouse in the bathroom.

There was a rpg this weekend I missed most of because I was working.

But Games Night went off fairly well - Set, Ninja Burger, and The Big Idea. I love The Big Idea, especially when we don't bother to play the second half of the game. You're supposed to come up with a product from a set of adjective and noun cards, pitch it to the group, and then see whose product is the most successful blah blah blah. We stop after the pitch. Exciting new products coming to you include "Liquid Cow", "Bourgeois Beer", "Paradise Cardboard Monkey", and "Fruity French Bulletproof Shampoo".

I think it was actually a "Cardboard Paradise Monkey", so you can keep up with the Joneses when they buy a Paradise Monkey, but you can't afford one.

I was also rather fond of the Powdered Pontiff, who you could reconstitute if you started losing your faith in outer space. Or the Obedient Butler Virus, for those who have disrepectful servants and think microbiotic mind-control is the answer.
