Good lord, it's hailing! Fingernail sized balls, too! I hope they don't break the windows. (I also really hope Chuckro made it to the train station before it really got started...)
It was a really scary storm, overall. Thunder like cannons, crazy lightning, rain and wind everywhere. One of the most violent storms I've seen in some time.
We've had several like that in the last two years up here, and one scared the CRAP out of me. I had just had knee surgery and was stuck on the couch, could barely move, and my mum had gone out on errands. Suddenly, it got pitch black, the wind kicked up so hard I thought the roof was going to come off the house, and it started hailing like mad. VERY scary.
