Our supermarket does not carry pasta sheets. I'd been told, however, that wonton wrappers could be a good substitute in a pinch.
Lies.
Ok, to be fair, it's possible that my filling was too wet and/or I overcooked my ravioli. But my lovely lovely pumpkin ravioli in their browned butter and sage sauce with onions and almonds turned into one giant lump of glop.
I dubbed it Jabba the Dinner.
Chuckro ate his and insisted it still tasted good. It did taste good, but the texture was right on that edge of whatever it is that makes me grossed out by runny cheese and really undercooked dough. I just couldn't eat it. I kind of scraped out some of the pumpkin and rescued the onions and almonds, but the pasta was just one big inedible mass that increasingly nauseated me the longer I poked at it.
Bleh. Dinner fail.
