I can check my mail!

Our computer has been becoming increasingly decrepit, to the point that the only way I could come up with to check my gmail was via a six-year-old version of Firefox. (Later versions of multiple browsers seem to get killed by some process, maybe Norton. They would get stuck forever and require a hard reboot. By the end, gmail stopped even supporting that version, which meant I was stuck with the HTML only version of gmail. Super awesome.)

We got a new computer! Yay! I can just open up gmail and it works instantly! Yay!

Ha! Why are you checking personal email at work, asks Big Brother. My company would definitely put the kibbosh on that if it wasn't for the fact that they're so cheap, they're using gmail for their company email provider. They've blocked this site, for instance, and Facebook, even though they've created a Facebook page for the company. Philistines.

Well, actually, this is our home computer I was talking about. It's Chuckro's old computer, and we've had it for probably about seven years now. I couldn't check my personal email at home, which sucked.
