First day back

Whatever vacation-zen was left has been shredded by jet lag, screwed up subways, horrific humidity, eighty bajillion email to wade through, and all the stuff at work that's been stressing me out but now piled up for a week's worth of stress in one morning.

Has the day gotten better? I had some anxiety about my first day back yesterday, with the crush of email, built-up backlog and the reconstitution; but by the end of the day things had cleared up nicely.

Eh. I also had to move my desk today, which was super awesome. I do not like my new desk as much, but others got even more screwed, so I can't complain. Tired and cranky. Still snowed under by email.
