Typing issues

When I went to give blood today, my first iron test came out 12.3. (You need 12.5 minimum.) I was annoyed - I'd been good and taken my iron pills and everything. The nurse wondered if my finger hadn't been dry enough from the alcohol swab, and maybe some of the alcohol had gotten mixed with the blood. Second try - 13.8. Huzzah! I think her theory was correct - there's no way my right hand contains that much more iron than my left hand.

But that means that in addition to the elbow bandage, I have bandaids on both middle fingers. And they slide around every time they hit the keys. It's making typing a wee bit difficult.

They won't let me try twice! I used to be able to retest for iron, but they haven't let me the last couple of times they refused me. It's weird.

Really? I've had them suggest trying again ever time I've failed.
