I used to keep this chart updated a minimum of once a week. But no one ever wanted to see it in the weekly meeting. We also needed it for the monthly meeting...that has been cancelled for the last two or three months, usually fifteen minutes before the meeting. This chart that takes me an hour to update at least once a week has not been looked at in over three months. My eyes are the only ones who watch its little numbers change or its little graphs grow. After awhile, I've come to the conclusion that no one actually cares about my chart.

Monthly meeting crept up on me today while I was doing other work. And wasn't cancelled. And he asked for me to produce the chart, five minutes before the meeting.

...I haven't updated the chart in three weeks.

First time someone looks at my chart in a quarter, and the damn thing isn't updated. Well. That was an embarrassing meeting.

In other news, why am I so damn hungry?

Ugh, I hate when that happens. I'm sure, however, that people there know how on top of things you usually are and are assuming it was a detail lost in the holiday rush.

I'm not going to get fired or anything, but I got a gentle reprimand. Which was deserved, really, but argh, so annoying. Because if anyone had asked for them at any time before early December...I took my reprimand with good grace. No more slacking off.

I wasn't worried about you. I just know that it sucks worst because you give yourself the hardest time about it.
