Cinderella
Jan. 13th, 2009 01:55 pm...either that, or I'm the horse that threw a shoe. Or part of one.
The bottom chunk of my shoe's heel fell off. Left just the exposed nails sticking out. I was getting caught on the carpet with every step. We couldn't figure out what to stick on it to protect the nails, so we just pulled the nails out. (I like working in an office with an installation team - we've got all kinds of tools you don't usually get in an office.)
Silly shoe. I guess the repair guy didn't do such a great job on this pair. (I had the heels replaced a couple months ago, when they wore out but the body of the shoe was still ok.)
