Cupcake

I do not need this cupcake.

On Monday, I ate a cupcake, because they are leftover and need a home, despite the fact I wasn't hungry. I sort of regretted it, because it was very sugary and I'd been full before and was then too full. But at least after I ate it, I stopped obsessing about it.

Yesterday, I managed the entire day without eating a cupcake. But I seriously thought about it every five minutes, and drove myself totally crazy.

Today, I see my coworkers failed to finish them yesterday. I can't stop thinking about the stupid cupcakes. I've decided to have one, despite the fact that I really don't need the calories, just so I'll stop thinking about it.

I've had crushes that were less complicated than my emotional relationship to these stupid cupcakes.

Christmas bells, those Christmas bells

I started the day with "Alice's Restaurant" running through my head. I have since replaced it with the Snoopy/Red Baron Christmas bells song. The problem is, I don't really know the lyrics, so I never reach the end. And at the end of each stanza, there's a chord change upwards. So it's just getting higher and higher and higher in my head until it resets.
