My Lord and the Thai Warrior
Oct. 9th, 2006 09:46 amSince Chuckro doesn't seem inclined to post - the boys took him to Medieval Times for his bachelor party. And got him knighted. We have a picture and a certificate designating him Lord Charles.
Meanwhile, I had some friends over for movies. The Philadelphia Story and Ong-Bak: Thai Warrior. First Tony Jaa movie I've seen. Among other things, he sets his legs on fire and then crushes a guy's head between his thighs. No wires, no stunt doubles. Most of the movie consisted of us alternating between saying "What? What's going on? This plot makes no sense" and "HOLY SHIT, HOW DID HE DO THAT? DID YOU SEE THAT? OH MY GOD, HE'S ON FIRE!!!"
It was cool.
You know what rocks? Not being at work today. That rocks.
