Unexpectedly stressful morning

Y'know, today was supposed to be an easy day. I mean, it's bad enough having to go to work on the day between the weekend and the Fourth of July, but most of my coworkers were out and I didn't have anything pressing to do on the schedule.

The one thing I had to do was the fundings. Now, these are something usually done by other people - it's not my job. But the other people were on vacation, so I said I'd do them. I've done them before. They usually take an hour or so.

I just finished them about 20 minutes ago. The entire morning. I started them when I got to work, and then watched in horror as one after another, pretty much every client developed problems.

Gah. Now I'm just totally exhausted. I'm trying to summon up the energy to actually get some of my own work done, but I'm just wiped.
