Separation anxiety
Feb. 10th, 2006 11:24 amNon-rpgers, you may want to avert your eyes from the patheticness about to ensue.
So I'm about one game away from ending the first campaign I've ever run. And I find myself surprisingly reluctant to actually finish plotting it out. And I don't want it to end. There were so many subtleties that I had thought of and never really got to. Moral dilemmas I no longer have time to set up. I keep thinking of this and that and wishing I'd done it better, and oh, I could fix it if I had more time. But I really don't have any reason to drag the plot out anymore - the natural conclusion is almost here, unless the characters totally screw up (in which case, I can end the world or just make them scramble across the globe some more). But I don't want to let go...it's like sending your children to kindergarten.
