Wow, apparently I really really needed that nap yesterday. I feel like I'm awake and cheerful for the first time in weeks. So cheerful I'm almost creeping myself out.
I've noticed that same phenomena happen to me as well. Like the time last week I was a miserable b**** during the day, came home and napped from 5:30-9:30, had dinner and then still got a full 8 hours of sleep on top of that. I was just peachy the next day!
I think it also says something sad about a work culture where the amount of time people spend working and commuting each day makes it such that even one bad night of sleep can cause a week-long problem when napping is not an option.
