I'm 32k+ words in, and I've hit the plot hole. There were a couple of them, many of which had filled themselves in before I got there. But this one...hasn't. Crap.

Don't forget collective insanity. If you skate really fast over thin ice, you can usually get readers to not notice the ginormous plot hole. It works for Daffy Duck, it might work for you! :)
