The day started out completely wretched. I was fine when I got up, but by the time I got to the office, I had a killer headache from hell. And was nauseated. I just wanted to get back on the first train home and go back to bed. But, being at my third day at work, I was reluctant to do this.
Fortunately, Jeremy (my very, very nice boss) gave me some Tylenol. And after another hour or two of misery, the stuff finally kicked in and I started feeling like I wasn't trying to think through a haze of pain.
Which is good, 'cause I actually got taught how to do something practical today. Hurray! (The last two days, and this morning, were reading through S&P standards and legal documents, trying to get familiar with terms and procedures.) So I got to update this month's advance ratios for one of our clients (a fairly big one, but I'm not sure about the ethics of talking about such things on a basically open forum). And I found an anomaly which may or may not be a problem. I was useful! It was fun. Hurray!
